Founded in 2000 by Graham Clarkson, CWB is a specialist provider of financial advice, tax planning, employee benefits and business consultancy services.

Group Managing Director
Simon has been working with CWB Group since 2013 – originally as an external adviser, and in July 2015 he was appointed as Group Managing Director.
He is responsible for all operational matters throughout the group, and is our Group Compliance Officer.
Simon has over 30 years’ experience in financial services, formerly as a financial planner, and more recently as Managing Director of some national financial services business as well as running his own consultancy business.
Simon lives in Sussex with his husband and large family of dogs. Home life revolves around walking on the beach, the South Downs and a major house renovation project.
Chief Finance Officer
James is Chief Finance Officer, and joined in September 2020. He is responsible for all financial matters within the Group.
Chief Operating Officer
Krys is our Chief Operating Officer and joined in January 2017. Her role involves managing our teams of Paraplanners and Administrators, ensuring they work as efficiently as possible and providing the best service for our clients.
In addition Krys is also responsible for the ongoing development of our operational systems, processes and policies – specifically supporting better management reporting, information flow and management, as well as business process and business planning.
Krys has worked in the financial services industry since 1985, holding various roles from Financial Adviser to Operations Director. Prior to joining the CWB Group, she worked as a consultant to various financial services businesses – helping review and improve their business processes and procedures – as well as the implementation and restructure of IT systems, plus mentoring staff to improve their skills and achieve their goals.
Outside of work Krys has a passion for baking and shoes, although she’s not sure in which order! Krys also enjoys reading, countryside walks, and travelling.
Group Compliance Director
Rob is our Group Compliance Director, and joined the Group in October 2020.
Director of Private Clients
Paul joined in October 2015 and is based at our Bromsgrove office.
He is Director of Private Clients, a Chartered Financial Planner and is continuing to pursue his professional qualifications, with the next goal to become a Fellow of the Personal Financial Society. Paul also has a LLB (Hons) in Law from the University of Sheffield.
Paul’s two biggest passions outside of work are his family and sport – his wife would tell you they don’t always come in that order! He is a fan of almost all sports and so is not fussy whether he is participating or more frequently now partaking simply as a spectator and watching the professionals show him how it should be done.
Paul comes from a large family, he is one of 5 boys. So when he is not enjoying family time with his wife, Charlotte and young son, Oscar, he enjoys catching up with one of his many brothers, usually at some type of sporting event.
Director of Employee Benefits
David is Director of Corporate benefits, and joined us in January 2020.
He has worked in corporate employee benefits for over 30 years, initially with a major insurer, more recently in senior positions with a specialist consultancy, and most recently an international consultancy.
David has been at the forefront of the change from provision of Employee Benefits as a product, to a wider focus on employee engagement and wellbeing through the use of targeted products and services. He has a focus on ensuring that consulting and services are delivered to clients in a manner which makes them easy to understand, and through this David is easy to work with, gives peace of mind and just as importantly, always leaves clients in no doubt that they are valued.
Chief Marketing Officer
Marc is an experienced financial services marketer and joined CWB Group in May 2016. He is CMO for the CWB group of companies, responsible for our marketing and communications strategies.
Marc has spent most of his career working in the City of London, in senior marketing positions for some of the UK’s most prominent wealth management and employee benefits businesses.
With a passion for innovation and clear communication, he has been responsible for delivering a large number of groundbreaking marketing initiatives in the employee benefits and wealth management industry.
Outside of work, Marc lives in Essex with his wife and young children. With family roots in North London he is a staunch Arsenal supporter and has held a season ticket for many years. He also enjoys playing golf, family holidays and generally getting away to sunny destinations including his “second home” of Las Vegas.

Adam Jones DipPFS
Senior Corporate Benefits Consultant
Adam is a Senior Corporate Benefits Consultant, and joined us in November 2020.
His career in corporate employee benefits exceeds 15 years, following completion of his degree in Financial Services. Adam has worked with a major insurer and other large financial institutions through his career, and prides himself in delivering solutions for Corporate clients that suit both their needs and wants, delivered in a way that makes them easy to understand.
Outside of work Adam spends most of his time as a personal chauffer for his 3 children supporting them in their various sporting activities.
Alan Holmes CeMAP, CeRER
Head of Mortgages
Alan is Head of Mortgages and joined us in April 2018.
Alan has worked in financial services for almost 20 years. The last 10 years have seen him solely dedicated to the mortgage sector, where he is CeMAP qualified as an authorised mortgage adviser and CeRER qualified to give advice on equity release. Prior to joining us, Alan held mortgage advisory roles at major high street lenders Lloyds Banking Group and Barclays.
Outside of work Alan is a big sports fan, particularly football (Leeds United) and motorsport (Formula 1 and Moto GP). When not watching sport, Alan enjoys spending time with his wife Mandy and dining out at new restaurants. He loves travelling to new destinations, and when time allows enjoys riding his motorcycle.
Amy Kaur CeMAP, CeRER
Amy is a Mortgage Adviser and joined us in November 2019.
Amy has over 15 years’ experience within the mortgage industry, and prides herself in helping others achieve their dream of securing a new home. She is CeMAP qualified as an authorised mortgage adviser and CeRER qualified to give advice on equity release.
Outside of work Amy enjoys going to the gym and regularly attending boxing classes. She also enjoys yoga classes which enable her to focus and re-energize.
Family is of great importance to Amy and she enjoys spending time with them, especially her Grandson with whom she enjoys quality time outdoors as much as the weather allows.
Her biggest joy in life is travelling and she aims to travel the world; so far she has travelled to over 30 countries.

Chris is a Chartered Financial Planner based at our Market Harborough office. Having joined CWB in October 2016, Chris became part of our Planning team in 2019 after being promoted from his Paraplanner role.
David Brennan CFPcm, APFS
Investment Director, Chartered Financial Planner
David is an Investment Director and Chartered Financial Planner, and joined CWB in January 2015. He has over 30 years’ experience in financial services through the life assurance, IFA, employee benefits and wealth management sectors.
David is a Chartered Financial Planner with the CII, a Certified Financial Planner & a Chartered Wealth Manager with the CISI.
Outside of the office, David is a lover of sports, especially cricket, horse racing and football. He also holds the FA Level 1 coaching badge and coaches his son’s football team. Aside from sports he likes to spend time with his family and has a general interest in the economy and current affairs.
Frederick Eden DipFA
Fred joined CWB in November 2015 having relocated to the Leicestershire area from Lancashire.
He is a Diploma qualified Financial Planner and has worked in the industry for over 25 years. Fred also holds relevant Mortgage Advice and Equity Release qualifications.
Fred is married and has been for 28 years. He has two grown up children, a springer spaniel called Bruno and a cat called Ralph. He enjoys meeting people, walking/trekking and watching sport. Fred recently visited Peru and spent 5 days trekking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu.

Garry is Investment Director and Chartered Financial Planner. He heads up our Glasgow office, and joined in October 2017.

Graham is the original founder of Clarkson Wayman Ball, is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner and financial planner.
As well as guiding the strategic direction of the group, Graham continues with his true vocation, namely advising some of our key corporate and individual clients.
Graham is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner with over 25 years’ experience in the financial planning arena. His qualifications and experience enable him to advise clients, both individual and corporate.
Outside of work, Graham is a family man and a keen sportsman. His life away from work revolves around both – as far as possible, simultaneously.
Harmy Bains Chartered ALIBF
Chartered Financial Planner
Harmy is a Chartered Financial Planner, and joined us in October 2020.
He has been a financial professional since 2003 and has a wealth of experience from his career including roles with Deutsche Bank, Lloyds Private Banking & Quilter Financial Planning. After earning his Honours degree in Accountancy and Economics, Harmy went on to study Financial Planning through the Chartered Insurance Institute and Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments. He is a Chartered Member of London Institute of Banking and Finance.
Harmy lives with his wife and two young daughters. Most weekends are focused around the children, but when he gets the chance Harmy enjoys playing football, golf and indulging his passion for cars.
Harry Pratt DipPFS
Harry is a Diploma qualified Financial Planner and has a First Class BSc (Hons). He joined in November 2020 and is based in our Bromsgrove office.
He is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute and the Personal Finance Society, and is currently studying towards Chartered Financial Planner status. Harry believes that financial planning should be bespoke for each client, centred around building long term relationships.
In his personal time Harry is passionate about sport, mainly rugby, football, and golf.
Jake Clarkson DipPFS
Private Clients Team Leader
Jake is a Financial Planner, based at our head office in Market Harborough. He became part of our Financial Planning team in August 2016, having been promoted from his former role as a Paraplanner, and is now Team Leader.
He graduated with a 2:1 degree in BSc (Hons) Economics for Business from Leeds Metropolitan University (now Leeds Beckett University) in 2013 and now has around five years’ experience in the financial services industry.
Jake has recently completed his Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, and plans to further his development by achieving Chartered and then Fellow status. He is also a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute and Personal Financial Society.
Outside of work, Jake likes to keep active by going to the gym and playing cricket for his local village team. He is a keen sports fan and likes to follow a range of different sports including football (Leeds United), cricket (Yorkshire), rugby league (Leeds Rhinos) and horse racing.
Mark Rolfe DipPFS
Mark is a Financial Planner reporting out of our London office and joined CWB in January 2015. He can call upon nearly 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, working most recently for Vestra Wealth and Bluefin.
Mark is Diploma qualified and is currently studying towards Chartered status. He is also a member of both the Personal Finance Society and Chartered Insurance Institute.
Outside of work, Mark has been married for 30 years and has two grown up children. When he isn’t in the office, Mark is a classic car enthusiast and enjoys watching motorsport. He is also a member (and former president) of the Milton Keynes Stony Stratford Lions Club, which is part of a worldwide charitable service. Additionally, when he isn’t helping local (and some overseas) charitable causes he likes to regularly go to air shows and watch rugby – Northampton Saints being his team of choice.
Neil Taylor DipPFS
Neil is a Financial Planner and joined CWB in September 2018, working out of our Market Harborough office.
He has over 20 years of experience in the Financial Services industry, working as an Independent Financial Adviser for National and Local IFA practices. He specialises in all areas of financial advice and offers a holistic financial planning service to both personal and corporate clients.
He currently holds the Chartered Insurance Institute Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and is actively working towards achieving Chartered Financial Planner status through ongoing examinations.
Neil is married with two grown-up sons. When not at work he spends as much time as possible outdoors with his wife and two Labradors, or fly fishing all over the UK.
He is a keen cook and likes to use locally sourced, seasonal ingredients where possible. Neil enjoys travelling in both the UK & overseas, taking his fishing rods wherever possible (he has a very understanding wife!).
Dr Paul Jackson PhD, FPFS
Founder, Chartered Financial Planner
Paul is a founder of PPS, he is a Chartered Financial Planner and has worked with veterinary practices for over 20 years.
Prior to his career in financial services Paul was a research chemist. He lives in Worcestershire with his wife Julia, children Matt and Ellie, and his greyhounds.
Outside of PPS Paul enjoys following Chelsea Football Club, life on a canal boat, plays the tenor horn and is a keen amateur wildlife photographer.
Roger Carey DipPFS
Roger is a Financial Planner and works out of our London office. He joined CWB in January 2015.
Roger has over 20 years’ financial services experience having previously working for a number of leading industry names. He is Diploma qualified and is a member of the Personal Finance Society and Chartered Institute of Insurance.
When it comes to working with clients, Roger feels that more than ever they value a high level of service and professionalism. Having a client-centric service proposition is key and that is what attracted Roger to CWB.
Roger enjoys the combination of the buzz of the City and West End, and the calmer environment of the South Coast and New Forest close to where he resides. Outside of work, Roger enjoys travel, city breaks, visiting country houses and walking. He is interested in most sports and enjoys nothing more than visiting Twickenham to watch the rugby.
Business Development Manager
Sean is a Business Development Manager and joined the CWB Group in August 2017.
Although based in our Market Harborough office, Sean’s role takes him across the UK where he works to develop relationships with our professional partners.
Corporate Business Development Manager
Simon is our Corporate Business Development Manager and joined us in March 2021.
Simon has over 20 years’ experience in pensions, employee benefits, health & wellbeing and technology. He joined us from Premier where for the last 10 years he was a Senior Consultant in corporate new business sales.
In addition to helping employers develop their employee benefits strategies, Simon also has a genuine passion for ensuring employees have access to affordable financial advice.
CWB’s unique ability to address the entire spectrum of financial needs of companies, their owners and their employees as private individuals is one of the main reasons Simon joined us.
Simon lives in Surrey with his wife and three children. Outside of work he enjoys watching his children’s football matches and with his son is an Arsenal season ticket holder.
Simon also enjoys playing snooker, pool, swimming, and going to the gym.
Steven Sylvester-Ajudua APFS
Chartered Financial Planner
Steven is a Chartered Financial Planner and has a First Class in BSc (Hons) Financial Economics from City, University of London. Steven joined in October 2017, and is based in our London office.
Away from work Steven is passionate about his family, fitness and football (Arsenal and Real Madrid). He has captained his local club and university in the past and still plays regularly. Aside from football, he likes to follow American football (New England Patriots), read and train in the gym.
Steven is also committed to mentoring students of college and university levels, by preparing the next generation for university or working life.
