Our Management and Financial Planners
Graham Clarkson ACII, DipPFS
Graham is the owner, the original founder of Clarkson Wayman Ball and is now Group CEO of the CWB group of companies.
As well as guiding the strategic direction of the group, Graham continues with his true vocation, namely advising some of our key corporate and individual clients.
Graham is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner with over 25 years’ experience in the financial planning arena. His qualifications and experience enable him to advise clients, both individual and corporate.
Outside of work, Graham is a family man and a keen sportsman. His life away from work revolves around both – as far as possible, simultaneously.
Group Managing Director
Simon has been working with CWB Group since 2013 – originally as an external adviser, and in July 2015 he was appointed as Group Managing Director.
He is responsible for all operational matters throughout the group, and is our Group Compliance Officer.
Simon has over 30 years’ experience in financial services, formerly as a financial planner, and more recently as Managing Director of some national financial services business as well as running his own consultancy business.
Simon lives in Sussex with his husband and large family of dogs. Home life revolves around walking on the beach, the South Downs and a major house renovation project.
Dr Paul Jackson PhD, FPFS
Partner, Chartered Financial Planner
Paul has worked with veterinary practices for over 20 years and has been a Partner of PPS for the last 15 years.
Prior to his career in financial services Paul was a research chemist. He lives in Worcestershire with his wife Julia, children Matt and Ellie, and two greyhounds.
Outside of PPS Paul enjoys following Chelsea Football Club, life on a canal boat, plays the tenor horn and is a keen amateur wildlife photographer.
Group Finance Director & Group Company Secretary
Paul is our Group Finance Director and Group Company Secretary, based in our Head Office in Market Harborough. He is responsible for all of the Group’s finances and company reporting.
He is AAT qualified and has over 19 years’ experience in the world of accountancy. The first 10 years he spent in Practice before moving into the financial services industry. Paul has spent the last 6 years running his own business prior to joining the CWB Group.
Paul loves nothing more than watching sport and drinking a cold beer. However, he is also married with a young daughter, 6 step children and 3 step grand-children which take up most of his time, so the sport and cold beer have been replaced with cartoons and cordial.
Chief Investment Officer
Stella is Chief Investment Officer of the CWB Group, and joined in January 2018.
Working with our Management Team and Financial Planners, Stella is responsible for the management and development of our investment proposition – adding value to the services we provide and ultimately bringing greater benefits to our clients.
Stella joined us from Ingenious where she was Senior Investment Director, leading a team which developed relationships with investors and advisers. Prior to this she was Director, Retail and Private Wealth, at HBOS Treasury. Stella built the financial markets wealth proposition at HBOS, and her role expanded after joining to cover the multi-branded Retail distribution channels across the Group.
Stella joined HBOS from Lloyds TSB Financial Markets and the majority of her early career was in private banking at C. Hoare & Co. Stella holds a variety of banking and financial markets qualifications.
Jon Dibble CII, DipPFS
Group Compliance Director
Jon is Compliance Director for the CWB Group, and joined in March 2018.
He has over 29 years’ experience as a financial services professional and worked at a senior management level for a number of years, representing highly respected financial services institutions and recognised market-leading brands. His career has primarily focused upon operational regulatory risk management, with other roles including learning & development, direct sales, marketing, customer services and business development.
Jon holds a wide range of recognised financial services qualifications, as well as being a member of the Professional Body, which allows him to hold accreditations for Diplomas with both the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) and Personal Finance Society (PFS). In addition, Jon has also attained a vocational qualification with the Institute of Leadership and Management.
Outside of work Jon is married to Cheryl and they are both hugely proud of their teenage son James. As well as spending time with family and friends, Jon enjoys travelling and music. He is also a keen sports fan and an active member of Exeter City Football Club Supporters’ Trust, as well as being an avid Formula One motor racing fan, attending the Silverstone Grand Prix each year with James. Jon has also represented the Bristol eight ball County pool team at the National Championship Finals on a number of occasions.
Chief Operating Officer
Krys is our Chief Operating Officer and joined in January 2017. Her role involves managing our teams of Paraplanners and Administrators, ensuring they work as efficiently as possible and providing the best service for our clients.
In addition Krys is also responsible for the ongoing development of our operational systems, processes and policies – specifically supporting better management reporting, information flow and management, as well as business process and business planning.
Krys has worked in the financial services industry since 1985, holding various roles from Financial Adviser to Operations Director. Prior to joining the CWB Group, she worked as a consultant to various financial services businesses – helping review and improve their business processes and procedures – as well as the implementation and restructure of IT systems, plus mentoring staff to improve their skills and achieve their goals.
Outside of work Krys has a passion for baking and shoes, although she’s not sure in which order! Krys also enjoys reading, countryside walks, and travelling.
Miles Goodworth DipPFS
Director of Corporate & Employee Benefits, Financial Planner
Miles is a Financial Planner and is also Director of Corporate and Employee Benefits for the CWB Group.
Together with his team of planners and consultants, Miles helps businesses implement the very best employee benefits programmes, as well as taking care of auto enrolment legislation.
Miles is a career financial adviser having graduated from Liverpool University with a degree in Latin & Greek. In the past, he has worked for major UK Life Companies as a pensions consultant and for the past 15 years as an Independent Financial Adviser. Miles is Diploma Qualified and currently working towards achieving Chartered Status.
Outside of work Miles is a keen squash & racketball player, footballer and very average golfer. He relaxes by spending time playing jazz piano and with his indie rock band when he isn’t running around after his 3 children!
Garry Donnelly CFP (TM) Chartered MCSI
Group Private Clients Director, Investment Director, Chartered Financial Planner
Garry is Group Private Clients Director, Investment Director and Chartered Financial Planner. He heads up our Glasgow office, and joined in October 2017.
Group Head of Marketing
Marc is an experienced financial services marketer and joined CWB Group in May 2016. He heads up Marketing for the CWB group of companies, and is responsible for our marketing and communications strategies.
Marc has spent most of his career working in the City of London, in senior marketing positions for some of the UK’s most prominent wealth management and employee benefits businesses.
With a passion for innovation and clear communication, he has been responsible for delivering a large number of groundbreaking marketing initiatives in the employee benefits and wealth management industry.
Outside of work, Marc lives in Essex with his wife and young children. With family roots in North London he is a staunch Arsenal supporter and has held a season ticket for many years. He also enjoys playing golf, family holidays and generally getting away to sunny destinations including his “second home” of Las Vegas.
Adam Hildred FPFS
Chartered Financial Planner, Head of Private Clients
Adam joined CWB in June 2018 and is based at our Market Harborough office.
He is a Chartered Financial Planner and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society (PFS) with over 20 years of experience in the Financial Services industry. He is a specialist in areas including taxation and trusts as well as retirement planning, however, offers a fully holistic service to both personal as well as corporate clients.
The focus outside of work for Adam is his family, as he is married with two daughters who keep him busy. He enjoys cycling to keep fit, golf once or twice a year to keep him grounded and a large amount of dog walking in the surrounding countryside of where he lives.
He is a committee member of the local music festival in his village and a committee member of the regional PFS group for Essex as well
as having spent 10 years on the PTA at his daughter’s school with the last three years as chairman, and enjoys being involved with local events and activities.
David Brennan CFPcm, APFS
Investment Director, Chartered Financial Planner
David is an Investment Director and Chartered Financial Planner, and joined CWB in January 2015. He has over 30 years’ experience in financial services through the life assurance, IFA, employee benefits and wealth management sectors.
David is a Chartered Financial Planner with the CII, a Certified Financial Planner & a Chartered Wealth Manager with the CISI.
Outside of the office, David is a lover of sports, especially cricket, horse racing and football. He also holds the FA Level 1 coaching badge and coaches his son’s football team. Aside from sports he likes to spend time with his family and has a general interest in the economy and current affairs.
Frederick Eden DipFA
Fred joined CWB in November 2015 having relocated to the Leicestershire area from Lancashire.
He is a Diploma qualified Financial Planner and has worked in the industry for over 25 years. Fred also holds relevant Mortgage Advice and Equity Release qualifications.
Fred is married and has been for 28 years. He has two grown up children, a springer spaniel called Bruno and a cat called Ralph. He enjoys meeting people, walking/trekking and watching sport. Fred recently visited Peru and spent 5 days trekking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu.
Jake Clarkson DipPFS
Jake is a Financial Planner, based at our head office in Market Harborough. He became part of our Financial Planning team in August 2016, having been promoted from his former role as a Paraplanner.
He graduated with a 2:1 degree in BSc (Hons) Economics for Business from Leeds Metropolitan University (now Leeds Beckett University) in 2013 and now has around five years’ experience in the financial services industry.
Jake has recently completed his Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, and plans to further his development by achieving Chartered and then Fellow status. He is also a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute and Personal Financial Society.
Outside of work, Jake likes to keep active by going to the gym and playing cricket for his local village team. He is a keen sports fan and likes to follow a range of different sports including football (Leeds United), cricket (Yorkshire), rugby league (Leeds Rhinos) and horse racing.
Mark Rolfe DipPFS
Mark is a Financial Planner reporting out of our London office and joined CWB in January 2015. He can call upon nearly 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, working most recently for Vestra Wealth and Bluefin.
Mark is Diploma qualified and is currently studying towards Chartered status. He is also a member of both the Personal Finance Society and Chartered Insurance Institute.
Outside of work, Mark has been married for 30 years and has two grown up children. When he isn’t in the office, Mark is a classic car enthusiast and enjoys watching motorsport. He is also a member (and former president) of the Milton Keynes Stony Stratford Lions Club, which is part of a worldwide charitable service. Additionally, when he isn’t helping local (and some overseas) charitable causes he likes to regularly go to air shows and watch rugby – Northampton Saints being his team of choice.
Nim Balakrishnan DipPFS
Nim is a member of the Planner team at CWB and is based at our Head Office in Market Harborough. He has been working in this capacity within the company since January 2013.
Nim is a Diploma qualified Financial Planner and has a BA (Hons) in Management from the University of Leeds. He completed his training and became a Regulated Planner at an AIM listed Wealth Management and Employee Benefit firm that specialises in Self Invested Personal Pensions and advising high net worth individuals, before moving to CWB.
Outside of work, Nim is passionate about three things: curry, Guinness and rugby. He believes as long as you include one of these three things in your daily life, there is never a reason not to smile. He also points out he is quite fond of spending time with his wife and young daughter.
On a professional level Nim’s aim is to achieve Chartered status as soon as possible so that his qualifications match the quality of his advice. He would also like to get as many letters after his name, as he has in his name.
Corporate & Employee Benefits Consultant
Ricky joined CWB in June 2017, and is a consultant looking after the pensions and employee benefits of companies across the UK.
Roger Carey DipPFS
Roger is a Financial Planner and works out of our London office. He joined CWB in January 2015.
Roger has over 20 years’ financial services experience having previously working for a number of leading industry names. He is Diploma qualified and is a member of the Personal Finance Society and Chartered Institute of Insurance.
When it comes to working with clients, Roger feels that more than ever they value a high level of service and professionalism. Having a client-centric service proposition is key and that is what attracted Roger to CWB.
Roger enjoys the combination of the buzz of the City and West End, and the calmer environment of the South Coast and New Forest close to where he resides. Out of work, Roger enjoys travel and is a keen dog walker. He also likes to follow most sports and actively supports the on-going development of grass roots community football, holding the FA Level 1 coaching badge.
New Business Consultant
Sean is a New Business Consultant and joined the CWB Group in August 2017.
Although based in our Market Harborough office, Sean’s role takes him across the UK where he works to develop relationships with our professional partners.
